The NHL regular season got underway this week, but this year, for the first time, hockey fans will not be able to tune into the games on the CBC.
Picking up over-the-air broadcasts with an inexpensive digital antenna will no longer be an option. Fans will need to subscribe to an array of specialty sports channels on Bell or Videotron or stream some games on Amazon Prime.
The end of Habs games on Hockey Night in Canada brings back some fond memories for me.
