The Mini Countryman Untamed Edition tests how far Mini can push its largest model towards outdoor buyers without diluting the brand
BMW Group will start building the Mini Countryman Untamed Edition at its Leipzig plant in November 2026, giving the brand’s largest model line a more rugged, off-road-oriented variant. Raised suspension and all-terrain tyres define the edition, which reaches markets worldwide in early 2027 and starts at US$43,900 in the US.
A 15mm suspension lift, combined with new 19-inch wheels and Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tyres, adds up to 19mm of ground clearance depending on market and powertrain. Braking, stability control and steering have been recalibrated for the revised set-up.
Fitment varies by region. The US and Canada receive the lift on every variant and the tyres as standard, while Europe reserves the lift for electric models and lists the tyres as an option, pointing to North America as the main target.
Depending on market, the edition covers the Countryman C, D and S ALL4 alongside the electric E and SE ALL4. Frozen Nomad Blue becomes the first matte paint in Mini series production, and an Autohome roof tent and a Helinox camping range extend the package.
