Jackson County Jail log, Oct. 20: Domestic abuse, burglary

Arrests

Burglary, criminal mischief: Joseph Richard Balsz, 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Balsz Sunday on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree burglary, a parole violation for first-degree attempted sodomy, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and a city ordinance offense. Balsz was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $15,000 bail.

Criminal trespass, felon in possession of a restricted weapon: Deric Steven Burnett, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Burnett Monday on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and a probation violation for first-degree theft. Burnett was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse: Matthew David Armand King, 45, of the 100 block of Highland Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested King Monday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon-domestic violence, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, harassment, strangulation-domestic abuse and coercion-domestic violence. King was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear: Dennis Justin Oehme, 51, of the 200 block of Third Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Oehme Monday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Oehme was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
