US citizen almost detained by ICE
ICE agents attempted to detain Alfredo, a U.S. citizen, as he prepared to take his son with autism to school in Victorville, California. In conversation with N+ Univision, his wife, April Vélez, claimed that at least three agents grabbed him, hit him and tried to remove him from their property, after telling him that he looked like a person they were looking for. According to April, the officers released him and left without giving any explanation when neighbors and witnesses began recording the incident. The family reports that the incident left their son, who has autism, deeply scared, while Alfredo had to receive medical attention.
