PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A man was sentenced to 20 months in prison for ramming a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office SUV with a stolen car before driving it into a crowd of at least 15 people.
No one was hurt in the incident on May 25,2026, officials say.
According to court records, 23-year-old Angel Bourdage was seen passed out in the driver’s seat of a stolen vehicle parked in a space reserved for handicap parking.
Bourdage reportedly woke up while Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office deputies were positioning their vehicles around the stolen car, trying to prevent the driver from escaping.
“The defendant rammed into the patrol SUV and several other parked cars while trying to escape, before driving the vehicle through a crowd of at least fifteen people,” the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said.

Bourdage bailed out of the vehicle and ran, but deputies ultimately took him into custody.
