The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Embassies of EU Member States will hold the fourth edition of its traditional “Taste of Europe” Culinary Festival on 3 October 2026. The Festival will offer the Azerbaijani public an opportunity to discover and enjoy European cuisine, culture and traditions through food, culinary masterclasses, quizzes, music and other activities.
Everyone interested in European cuisine, participate in culinary master-classes and quizzes are invited to join the “Taste of Europe” Culinary Festival on 3 October from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Hilton Hotel, 1B Azadliq Avenue. The Embassies of Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain will present cuisine of their countries to the visitors.
The EU Delegation stand will present culinary master-classes led by well-known food bloggers Elmira Gadirova and Nazakat Jafarova (Nazlinin_metbexi). The Local farmers, who benefitted from the EU-funded project will also showcase and sell their organic food products.

During the event, winners of quizzes will have an opportunity to receive various prizes, including a “Taste of Europe” book published by the EU Delegation. The book offers traditional recipes from all 27 EU Member States translated into the Azerbaijani language. The book is also available in an electronic format on the web-site of the EU Delegation.
The event will also feature the awarding ceremonies of the culinary competition of European dishes and drawing competition organised by “Azeri Home Chef” Facebook page prior to the event. The Festival will be accompanied with a concert of local musicians performing in Azerbaijani and European languages.
