A multi-brand Circle K travel center is set to open at 265 Court St. in Binghamton, New York, this fall, Livingston, New Jersey-based retail developer The Briad Group said.
A second multi-branded Circle K travel center in Watertown, New York, is also expected to open in January. The developments were first announced in November 2025.
The developments mark the first in a planned series of up to 40 next-generation convenience and travel centers that will bring together fuel services, convenience retail and nationally recognized quick-service restaurants under one roof, The Briad Group said in a Sept. 28 news release.
The 6,800-square-foot travel center in Binghamton will feature a Circle K c-store with eight fuel pumps and two dedicated drive-thru lanes—one for Dunkin’ and one for Wendy’s. It will also offer a Papa Johns-branded pizza product.
- Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns Circle K, is No. 2 on CSP’s 2026 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by U.S. store count.
This location, near Interstates 81 and 86, is the first of a planned rollout of new Circle K travel centers across the New York region. The Briad Group said it expects to develop up to 40 locations as part of a long-term franchise development agreement with Circle K.
“This project represents an exciting new chapter for Briad as we expand into the convenience and fuel sector with innovative, nationally recognized, multi-brand restaurant concepts,” said Brad Honigfeld, CEO of The Briad Group. “Our goal is to create modern travel destinations that offer speed, convenience and great food options in one location, delivering a superior experience for travelers and the local community alike.”
Peachtree Group provided financing for the Binghamton and Watertown projects. It has committed $200 million to support The Briad Group’s development and acquisition of new c-stores and mini-travel centers over the next several years, the company said.
Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. owns the Circle K brand. Its network includes more than 7,100 stores in the United States, primarily under the Circle K banner, and about 2,100 in Canada under the Circle K and Couche-Tard banners.
