Science Desk Fall Relaunch: Events in New York and Chicago, and More

Then, on Sunday, Nov. 1, we’re hosting an event at the Griffith Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Wendy Freedmana University of Chicago cosmologist who has done pathbreaking work on the expansion of the universe, will be in conversation with Katrina Miller, a Chicago-based space and physics reporter for The Times. The Science desk’s photography editor and another Chicagoan, Matt McCannwill deliver a presentation about the art of science imagery. Access is free with museum admission.
