Rajasthan Farmer Welfare: The central and state governments on Sunday took a big step to speed up the development of farmers, youth and infrastructure of Rajasthan. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of different development projects worth more than Rs 6,262 crore for the state during a state-level program organized at Vijaynagar Ground in Alwar, Rajasthan on August 16.
This entire program was dedicated to the concept of prosperity through cooperation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s GYAN i.e. poor, youth, food giver and women vision. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah directly transferred Rs 667.40 crore into the accounts of 66.74 lakh farmers of the state. Apart from this, under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, insurance claims worth Rs 152 crore were also issued, giving relief to the farmers affected by the damage to the crops.

Gift of development works worth Rs 6,262 crore also given
Along with this, the Home Minister also launched projects worth Rs 6,262 crore promoting infrastructure, agriculture and cooperation in 17 districts of Rajasthan. On this occasion, the foundation stone of a modern dairy plant in Alwar Saras Dairy Complex and also e-inauguration of animal feed plants was also done.

During his visit to Rajasthan, the Union Home Minister also distributed appointment letters to 10,580 youth selected in competitive examinations and government services.

Addressing the program, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that the rural economy can be taken to new heights only by strengthening the cooperative movement in Rajasthan. He said that the modern dairy plant in Alwar and the animal feed plants being established in various districts will lead to unprecedented increase in the income of milk producers and cattle farmers. Along with this, providing new employment opportunities to the youth will pave the way for the all-round development of the state.
