AI-powered feed delivers personalized recommendations across scientific papers, preprints and conference abstracts
TEL AVIV, Israel, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — QED Sciencea science validity engine and modern infrastructure for researchers, funders, institutions and life science organizations, today launched Insights Feed, a personalized research discovery tool that helps life-science researchers identify the literature most relevant to their work. Updated daily, Insights Feed recommends papers, preprints and conference abstracts across 250 life science subfields, based on each researcher’s profile, uncovering relevant findings and methods they might otherwise overlook. For select preprints, it also includes the QED Score, a scientific quality signal that helps researchers decide which work deserves a closer read.
Insights Feed analyzes papers in the context of each researcher’s work, surfacing relevant content based on their published work, stated research interests, and any manuscripts or proposals they choose to upload. This approach is an antidote to noisy social media feeds and overwhelming agent-based discovery tools.
Insights Feed can recommend a paper for a single relevant method or result, even when the paper as a whole would not appear in a keyword search, including work from fields the researcher would not normally follow. Relevant findings often appear in preprints and conference abstracts well before journal publication, where other alerts can easily miss them.
“Preprints give you a more contemporary picture of how the field is developing, and with the Insights Feed you can see that in parallel to how you’re developing your work,” said Dr. Sauvik Das Gupta Ph.D., postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tokyo. “This is something I hardly got from a simple web search, because they mostly give you published papers, and journals are often quite slow.”
Each recommendation includes a “Why you should care” explanation connecting the research to the individual’s work. Researcher feedback refines the feed over time. Recommendations are generated without human review of uploaded research materials, helping protect the confidentiality of unpublished work.
Beyond personalized relevance, Insights Feed draws on QED Science’s scientific judgment engine to provide an additional quality signal for select preprints, helping researchers identify promising preprints based on the quality of the science rather than relying solely on journal or institutional reputation.
