LUBBOCK, Texas – In conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, CBS Sports Network has announced its broadcast lineup for the upcoming women’s basketball season, featuring eight conference games as part of the network’s debut season carrying Monster Energy Big 12 Women’s Basketball. The lineup includes the Lady Raiders’ home finale against Oklahoma State on Feb. 24, with the only regular-season matchup between the two programs set for a 5:30 p.m. CT tipoff.
The Lady Raiders will look to earn their first win over Oklahoma State under head coach Krista Gerlich, entering the matchup with a 35-42 all-time record against the Cowgirls. Texas Tech officially opens its season on Nov. 5, hosting Charlotte at United Supermarkets Arena.
Gerlich and the Lady Raiders will look to build on one of the most successful seasons in recent program history after finishing fourth in the Big 12 a year ago. Picked 13th in the preseason poll, Texas Tech posted a 26-8 overall record and a 12-6 mark in Conference play, earning its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013.
The addition of CBS Sports Network marks the first time in conference history that Big 12 Women’s Basketball will have three national broadcast partners, joining ESPN and FOX Sports. The games will be sublicensed through ESPN as part of the Big 12’s continued efforts to elevate women’s basketball and expand national exposure for the Conference.
Additional game times and television designations for the Lady Raiders schedule will be announced when available.
