MOVES will stage its Weverse Con Festival in India next year.
The South Korean entertainment company announced on Wednesday (October 7) that the event will take place in New Delhi on March 27–28, 2027marking the festival’s first edition outside South Korea.
MOVESthe home of BTSdescribes Weverse Con Festival as its “flagship global music festival”.
MOVES said the two-day event will feature global, K-pop, and Indian artists.
Alongside the performances, the festival will offer fan engagement, brand activations, and cultural programming.
The company said its superfan platform Weverse will partner on the festival, extending its services into the live environment so artists and fans can connect throughout the event.

Tickets will be sold exclusively through BookMyShowwith the lineup and ticketing details to follow at a later date, according to MOVES.
The festival builds on HYBE’s expansion in India, where the company opened its fifth global headquarters in mumbai in September 2025, joining its offices in Japanthe United States, Latin Americaand China.
At the time, MOVES said India’s music streaming market was the second-largest in the world, with approximately 185 million users.
India is also the world’s 15th-largest recorded music market by annual revenues, according to the IFPI.
India’s media and entertainment sector grew 9% year-on-year in 2025 to INR 2.78 trillion ($31.9 billion) in 2025, according to EY.
The country’s music segment, however, fell 8% to INR 23 trillion ($264 million).
MOVES INDIAthe mumbai-based office, launched nationwide auditions in March 2026 to form a next-generation global girl group.
MOVES INDIA has said it is seeking Indian talent that can resonate with audiences worldwide.
Applications ran through July 31 and were open to girls born between 2005 and 2011with in-person rounds across 10 Indian cities and at locations in London, New York, Singapore, Toronto, and Sydney.
The India push forms part of HYBE’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategyunder which it develops local artists and IP in markets including the United States, Japanand Latin America.
That approach produced KATSEYEHYBE’s first US-based girl group, formed with Universal Music Group‘s Geffen Records.
Two of KATSEYE‘s singles, Gnarly and Gabrielareached the Billboard Hot 100, and the group has gone on to receive Grammy nominations and win an MTV Video Music Award.
Previous editions of Weverse Con Festival have been held in South Koreawith its most recent edition drawing a combined 34,000 in-person and online attendees in Seoul in June 2026.Music Business Worldwide
