LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — A car show this weekend will bring the community together to remember a young man who loved cars and helping others.
The second annual Gears for Gaudio car show, hosted by the Live Like Cash Gaudio Foundation, will feature classic cars, trucks, food, vendors and live music.
The event honors Cash Gaudio and celebrates his passion for cars and bringing people together.

His mother, Shannon Meyers, said the show reflects two things her son loved most.
“He would love an event like this. And it just is such a perfect fit for how passionate he was about cars and it’s bringing together two things that he loved. Cars and people,” Meyers said.
The foundation also provides tuition assistance to student-athletes, helping carry on Gaudio’s passion for encouraging others to succeed.
The car show is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. Saturday. Meyers said if rain forces a cancellation, the event will be held Oct. 24 instead.
