Farm Credit Canada’s new C$1 billion ($707 million; €620.5 million) Agri‑food Project Finance Fund gives the lender a route to work with private investors to expand Canada’s food processing capacity, says vice president for strategic finance and project finance  Graeme Millen.

Millen says FCC expects to write loans between C$10 million and C$250 million to support projects requiring “C$25 million to C$500 million or more” over the next several years.
