Some of Dubai’s luxury hotels are trying to avoid cutting room rates while international demand remains weak after the U.S.-Iran war, offering perks and resident-only deals instead.
For Atlantis Dubai, the goal is to keep its published rates intact while still filling rooms.
“Atlantis Dubai has maintained its rate integrity throughout, while continuing to introduce offers, as it has done historically,” Kyp Charalambous, vice president of sales at Atlantis Dubai, told Skift. “What we’ve done is provide UAE residents added value incentives, including resort credit, complimentary upgrades and other benefits when they stay for a certain number of nights, while continuing to protect rate integrity.”
UAE residents who recently stayed at Atlantis The Royal told Skift they received complimentary dining credit and free tickets to Aquaventure World, the waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, and The Lost World Aquarium there.
