COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — From the colors of fall to a little Disney magic, there’s something new to discover at COSI, including a hands-on science experiment that explains why leaves change color.
COSI is highlighting a fall-themed demonstration that explores why leaves change colors and how chromatography can reveal the pigments hidden inside them. The experiment is designed to show the different colors present in leaves — even when those colors aren’t visible at first glance — using a process that can look like “a little science magic.”
The museum is also promoting a range of experiences for visitors of all ages, with activities aimed at making science engaging for little kids, teens and adults.
For families, COSI is also featuring Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibition, bringing Mickey Mouse to the museum and offering a new attraction geared toward younger visitors.
Adults looking for a night out can also find something new at COSI After Dark, a recurring event series that offers museum experiences with a different twist than a typical daytime visit.
COSI is encouraging people who haven’t visited in a while to come back and explore what’s new.
