CHICAGO (WLS) — A man got probation after pleading guilty to hate crime charges and stabbing a woman in Chicago, according to court records.
Police said the stabbing happened in the Portage Park neighborhood’s 5700-block of West Addison Street just after 11 p.m. on July 8, 2025.

Andres Stathoulopoulos, 20, said a racial slur before stabbing a 42-year-old woman, police said.
Stathoulopoulos, who lives in Portage Park, was arrested in Schiller Park on July 30.
Last week, he pled guilty to one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and one hate crime charge.
He was sentenced to time already served, which is 429 days, plus 180 days suspended sentence and two years of probation.
