The Government of Chaco, together with representatives of the private sector, developed an institutional and commercial mission in Asunción, Paraguay, with the objective of strengthening regional integration, promoting new investments and generating business opportunities for Chaco companies.
The delegation was made up, representing the provincial government, by the undersecretary of Planning, Evaluation and Strategic Linkage, Noel Ibarra. For the business sector, the president of the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Chaco, Pablo Staszewski, participated; the representative of the Economic Federation of Chaco (FECHACO), Germán Spada; and the treasurer of the Chamber of Foreign Trade, Gabriela Hidalgo.
During the meeting, a press conference was held with Paraguayan media, in which two strategic initiatives for provincial economic development were presented: the “Chaco Invest” New Investment Incentive Regime and the Regional and International Business Round, scheduled for next October 29 in Resistencia.
CHACO INVESTS: INCENTIVES TO ATTRACT NEW PROJECTS
Within the framework of the agenda, the delegation presented the opportunities offered by the Chaco Invest regime to promote the arrival of new investments, promote productive projects, favor the establishment of companies and contribute to the generation of employment.
The presentation was aimed at publicizing the tools available for those seeking to develop economic activities in the province, as well as the conditions to enhance production and expand business growth opportunities.
Likewise, the potential of Chaco as a strategic platform for business development was highlighted, due to its geographical location and its possibilities of integration with regional and international markets.
The institutional agenda in Asunción included meetings with Ambassador Guillermo Nielsen and his economic and business team, the Paraguayan-Argentine Chamber of Commerce, the Paraguayan Industrial Union, the Executives Club of Paraguay, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay, the Investment and Export Network of Paraguay (REDIEX) and the Importers Center of Paraguay.
These meetings made it possible to present the investment and productive development opportunities that the province offers, exchange perspectives with business leaders and strengthen links between institutions and economic actors of both countries.
The mission also had the purpose of calling on Paraguayan companies to participate in the Regional and International Business Round, conceived as a space to connect firms, business chambers and commercial operators, promote agreements and generate new investment opportunities.
ON OCTOBER 29, THE BUSINESS ROUND IN RESISTANCE
The Regional and International Business Round will be held on October 29 in Resistencia and will seek to bring together companies from different sectors to facilitate commercial exchange, establish strategic contacts and open new possibilities for cooperation.
The initiative is part of a joint agenda between the provincial government and the Chaco private sector to promote the internationalization of companies, expand markets and strengthen regional economic integration.
With these actions, Chaco seeks to consolidate itself as a destination to invest, produce and do business, promoting links with strategic markets and generating conditions for the growth of companies and job creation in the province.
