You can do this work even during bank holidays
Even if the bank branch is closed, customers will continue to get the facility of digital banking. Work like transferring money, paying bills and checking balance can be done through net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATM. However, for check clearance, demand draft, locker related work, KYC update and some work related to large cash, you may have to go to the bank branch. If there are such tasks, it would be better to complete them before the holidays.
Also know that bank holidays may differ according to the state and city. Therefore, before going to your nearest branch, check the official holiday list of RBI or confirm the holiday with your bank. This will save your time and you will not have to make unnecessary trips to the bank.
