Sovos, an invoicing and tax compliance solutions provider, announced that it acquired Flowie, an agentic AI finance platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Sovos will feed its tax compliance regulatory data into Flowie to create a more robust and compliant transaction process, according to a press release. The combination of Sovos and Flowie will launch Sovos Graph in Sovos applications to give a more complete picture of supply chain, transactions and regulatory knowledge.
“Pairing our tax compliance and regulatory data with Flowie’s agents means companies can run their business processes at agentic speed and still know, transaction by transaction, that they are compliant in every country in which they operate — lowering their cost and their risk at the same time,” said Kevin Akeroyd, CEO of Sovos.
This is the second recent acquisition by Sovos, which announced in September that it had acquired VAT platform Blue dot.
