The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA invites students to join us for an engaging roundtable discussion on sustainable finance with Jacqueline Ricciani, Managing Director, Global Head of Ratings and Sustainability Solutions and Nicolas de Lucio, Sustainability Solutions Associate of Santander Corporate & Investment Banking. This discussion is organized with Prof. Luisa Palacios and Gautam Jain as part of their SIPA Course “Financing Energy Systems in Emerging Markets.” The roundtable will take place on Friday, October 16 from 11:45 A.M. – 12:45 P.M. in the SIPA Building.
This interactive discussion will explore the evolving role of sustainable finance in global capital markets, including how financial institutions are navigating climate and sustainability priorities, emerging market opportunities, and the challenges of financing the energy transition. Drawing on their experiences working across international markets, our speakers will offer practical insights into the intersection of finance, sustainability, and public policy.
Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, ask questions, and gain valuable perspectives on career pathways and emerging opportunities in sustainable finance.
Admission at all CGEP events is subject to in-person venue capacity. All approved in-person attendees will be notified directly of their attendance status prior to the event by CGEP. In-person attendance may be prioritized for individuals who have previously participated in or engaged with our programming, and based on completeness of information provided within your registration application.
Approved in-person attendees will receive an e-mail notification of their application status at least 24-hours in advance of the event. Those not approved to attend in-person will not receive any follow-up communication from CGEP following their application.
