BENTONVILLE — A Fayetteville man was placed on 10 years of probation after pleading guilty in a Bentonville robbery case.
Jessie Davis, 27, pleaded guilty Thursday to robbery under a plea agreement Scott Parks, Davis’ attorney, reached with Mark Booher, deputy prosecutor.
Davis was arrested in July 2025.
Two other people were arrested in connection with the case.
Deangelo Boyd26, of Fayetteville was sentenced last month to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery.
Blair Bailey, 25, of Rogers is also charged with aggravated robbery. The proceedings in her case are suspended pending the outcome of a mental evaluation. Her next court appearance is set for Oct. 19.
Trenton Tolliver reported an armed robbery in July 2025 to Rogers police, according to a probable cause affidavit.
He told police he had taken over a drug dealing business from someone called Sawyer and had been messaging a man online about selling him narcotics, the affidavit states. Tolliver told police he agreed to meet the person on West Park Avenue in Rogers, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit claims Tolliver told police he arrived at the location and was approached by a man wearing a ski mask. He said the man asked him if he had “the stuff.” Tolliver said he retrieved a pink lunch box containing the drugs from his car and the man tackled him to the ground, according to the affidavit. He said a group took the lunch box containing the narcotics and a large amount of cash, police reported.
Police later stopped a vehicle, which was being driven by Bailey and in which Boyd was the front seat passenger, the affidavit states. Police reported finding a pink .22 caliber pistol in the vehicle.
Bailey told police she drove Boyd to Fayetteville to pick up two unknown men and dropped the trio off near the area of the robbery to buy some narcotics, according to the affidavit. Bailey said she drove the men back to Fayetteville, and one of them gave her half of the money Tolliver claimed was stolen from him, the affidavit states.
Boyd said during the struggle he ran back to the vehicle, and he told police he heard Davis bragging about taking the money, according to the affidavit.
Police obtained a search warrant of Boyd’s and Bailey’s cellphones and found messages between Boyd and Davis discussing the robbery, according to court documents.
Police reported finding an audio recording on Boyd’s Snapchat account. On the recording, police heard one female and three males discussing the robbery prior to it taking place, court documents state.
Davis said he grabbed the dealer and wrapped his arms around him while the others grabbed the drugs and money, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit claims Davis told police he did not keep any of the money or the drugs.
Benton County Circuit Judge Robin Green accepted the plea agreement and Davis’ guilty plea.
Davis was placed on 10 years of state supervised probation and sentenced to 120 days in the Benton County Jail, but given credit for the 457 days he spent in jail awaiting trial.
The judge ordered Davis not to have any contact with Tolliver.
