Team Europe is taking part in the Thailand Space Expo 2026 (TSX2026) and the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-32) in Bangkok from 27 to 31 October 2026. These events present a unique opportunity to showcase European space innovation, connect with Asia-Pacific partners, and explore new opportunities for cooperation between the EU and Thailand.
Team Europe’s participation brings together the European Commission (DG DEFIS), the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), the European Space Agency (ESA), EU Member States and the EU private sector.
Thanks to support from the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand, a select number of European companies at the cutting-edge of space technologies will showcase their expertise and services at the expo. The companies have been identified in coordination with the CASSINI programme, the European Commission’s initiative to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs in the space industry.
Team Europe’s participation will run through the following activities:
- Business matchmaking opportunities including pitching sessions on the TSX2026 stage for the EU CASSINI-supported companies.
- An EU Global Gateway Pavilion in the main exhibition hall, hosting and showcasing the companies and EU cooperation on space.
A panel discussion on EU Global Gateway, exploring EU-Thailand cooperation in digital and space. Check the agenda of this session here:
- Regional workshops for representatives of ASEAN space agencies, organised through SCOPE Digital, an EU–ASEAN Earth Observation initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by ESA.
- Information sessions on EU research funding, careers and collaboration organised by EURAXESS ASEAN, an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD).
- Attendance by several major European groups setting up their own booth at the expo and participating independently (see official TSX2026 programme for details).
- A GeoHackathon organised by GISTDA with support from ESA and SCOPE Digital.

Participating companies sponsored by the EU
EU space companies supported by the EU’s CASSINI programme will take part in TSX2026 and APRSAF-32. In collaboration with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand is pleased to provide this unique opportunity for CASSINI-supported companies to engage with key stakeholders, establish strategic partnerships, and explore new business opportunities in Thailand and the wider Asia-Pacific space ecosystem.
