Amaniganj. Durga Prasad Raidas (36), a tent businessman, died after falling from the roof under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday night in Aghiyouna village of Khandasa. There was chaos among the family members after the incident.
Durga Prasad Raidas used to run a shop named Durga Tent House at Aghiauna intersection. He lived there with his father Maniram, mother Taravati and nephew. It is being told that around 11 pm on Wednesday night, he had gone to the terrace for a short visit. During this time, he fell from the roof of the second floor behind the shop and got seriously injured. Nephew Mohit heard the voice and called people. He was immediately taken to the Community Health Center Milkipur, where the doctors declared him dead. The body was cremated in the native village on Thursday.
Lived separately from wife due to dispute
Villagers told that Durga Prasad was having a dispute with his wife Lilavati for a long time. He has no children yet. Due to a dispute with his wife, he lives in a village house. Area Officer Milkipur Piyush said that the police has conducted the post-mortem of the body. The investigation is being done keeping every aspect in mind. At present no complaint has been given to the police.
