The 27-year-old known as Caspian began deteriorating this week, the Shedd said.
She had been rescued from that shuttered marine park in Canada. The Shedd says the whales were in bad shape when they arrived here.
Last month, the Shedd Aquarium has released new findings on the deaths of the beluga whales at the aquarium.
The Shedd said there is no evidence the deaths were caused by communicable diseases.
Two of them: Peekachu and Rain, suffered from chronic gastrointestinal disease. They came from a closed marineland in Canada, where they had been ill for quite some time.
The death of a third whale from Canada was still being investigated.
Now, a fourth whale from Canada has also died and is under investigation.
Another whale who died recently, Beethoven, had been at the Shedd for years and his cause of death was old age, the aquarium said.
